Choose Bridal Lingerie that complements Your Wedding Dress

By Natalie Aranda Although guests to your wedding will not see your lingerie, choose the right kind is as important as the selection of your wedding dress, particularly because lingerie will be judged by the most adorable of the attendants to your event: your new husband. Good taste and common sense is needed when it comes to choosing your Bridal lingerie to complement your wedding dress. As an example, if you are going to wear an informal wedding dress, do not choose a very stuffed corset, and opt for a simpler bustier one instead. Although, there is a wide array of Bridal lingerie, including body-hugging Basques and strapless corsets with stretch spandex panels, your lingerie should be chosen along with your informal bridal gown, and to your wedding dress. Due to the fact that everyone has an opinion, the selection of your Bridal lingerie is a decision as personal as your dreams waiting for the big day to arrive. However, a bridal bustier or satin corset with sheer stay-up stockings, satin spandex gloves or crochet short gloves are nice lingerie settings, independent of your wedding dress. An informal bridal gown, and particularly those tight fitting types, will usually fit best with casual lingerie, including those nipple covers that adhere to your breasts providing minimal cover for your breast for maximum exposure when you want to show your most appealing and sexiest look. There are also micro spandex tights, invisible bras, self-adhesive disposable bras and push up bras with adhesive enhancers that mold to the breasts, pushing up, and providing strapless resembling nudity, another good lingerie option for an informal wedding dress. Brides who prefer a wedding dress, sticking to traditional styles may prefer lingerie such as baby dolls, but making sure they are made of silk or chiffon for a sensuous hugging note, in addition to a satin lace garter with bows. Some bridal shops offer complementary lingerie, including whole sets of bustiers, stockings, garter and gloves. Not only should the wedding dress influence the choice of lingerie, there is something else to keep in mind: your honeymoon destinations. If you are wearing an informal wedding dress during your wedding ceremony and reception in Florida, but you and your groom will take to the North Pole for your honeymoon, you simply will feel uncomfortable and out of context wearing just nipple covers. Besides, an informal wedding dress may be designed as luxurious as a classic attire, so your lingerie in this case should be chosen accordingly. Natalie Aranda writes on love and relationship and wedding gift ideas. For instance, chocolate gifts are favored by many wedding couples. An informal bridal gown, and particularly those tight fitting types, will usually fit best with casual lingerie, including those nipple covers that adhere to your breasts providing minimal cover for your breast for maximum exposure when you want to show your most appealing and sexiest look. Treachery in the Midst of the Land

By Marilynn Dawson The term Scripture uses to describe the activities of those who attempt to sell-out Israel comes to mind. “Treacherous!” Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is being underhanded, deceptive, manipulative, and threatening. In other words, “treacherous” against his own citizens and Land! He is giving-in to the Palestinian’ demands, and is turning Israeli Land over to the enemies of G_d and of Israel. Daily, we hear of incriminating information as to how the Disengagement Plan came about, and the terrible manner in which it is to be implemented. Daily, and now hourly, innocent people are being threatened with arrests, incarceration, intimidation; and under the latest directive issued from Sharon, “whatever it takes,” which could include violence, and possibly civil war. And, his stance is against innocent men, women, and children, descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who love the Torah, have faith in the L_RD, and love the Land. Treachery! The prophet Isaiah speaks the Word of the L_RD for this very time! Isaiah 24:13 When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done. Isa 24:14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea. Isa 24:15 Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea. Isa 24:16 From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously. Isa 24:17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. Isa 24:18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. Isa 24:19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. Isa 24:20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. Isa 24:21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. Isa 24:22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. Isa 24:23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously. Notice the shaking of the olive tree, Israel, takes place in “the midst of the land among the people.” That means, Israel is a national entity when the treachery takes place. The righteous are those who have repented, love the L_RD, and love Israel, and sing songs of praise to the L_RD from among the nations. This includes both Jews and righteous Gentiles. This cry from among those who love the L_RD with all their hearts is being heard from among both Jews and many Christians, who take G_d’s revealed Word as eternal truth. But meanwhile, the treacherous are dealing out their treachery even while this upholding of the truth in praise and glory to the L_RD is going forth. The context here in Isaiah is not refering to ancient Israel, but rather refers to our time, because there were few righteous to glorify the L_RD in Israel in ancient times, ( that’s why the L_RD judged them,) and certainly far fewer among the other nations. The Word of the LORD had not gone out to all nations in ancient times, because Israel was disobedient to the L_RD at that time. But the Word of the L_RD has reached all nations in our time, and many glorify Him with singing from among all peoples. But, we must also notice the context describes conflict, likely excalating into world-wide war, where all nations will be involved. But the L_RD Himself will bring the victory, and will reign in mount Zion, before all the “ancients gloriously,” indicating there will be a great resurrection and ingathering when Messiah comes. There are two wars described in this passage in Isaiah chapter 14. The first conflict is described in verses 16-17. The second in verses 18-23. These come about primarily because of the treachery committed by Israel’s and the world’s leaders. It would appear Ariel Sharon and his henchmen have possibly ushered-in the treachery! But, the victory will be the L_RD’s!! No matter what transpires, keep your faith in the L_RD strong, because He has the last word!! Israel will be established forever, and ALL the Land of Covenant will be inhabited by the sons of Jacob! The time of Jacob’s Trouble may be on the horizon, but this time will also be short! The settlers will settle permanently in Yesha! Victory is assured, not because of man’s doings, but because the L_RD will bring it to pass! In light of the current situation in Israel, Isaiah chapter 14 is particularly interesting. Isaiah 14:29 “Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent’s root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.” Isa 14:30 And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root with famine, and he shall slay thy remnant. Isa 14:31 Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times. Isa 14:32 What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it. Who is the serpent? He is described in this same chapter in verses 12-15 as being Lucifer, who fell from heaven, and came to weaken the nations because he has an ego problem. He has a plan and mission to exalt himself above G_d. Where does he choose to carry out this mission? Verses 13 and 14 of Isaiah 14 states, For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. He launches his planned take-over from a position of authority, headquartered from “the Mount of the congregation, ” with the ultimate goal to rise above the clouds, and above the Most High in Heaven. Where is the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north? It is the Temple Mount! Who occupies the Temple Mount? The Muslims! So what religious orientation will produce the one who obviously will be indwelt by Lucifer? Islam! He is the “cockatrice” who arises from the “serpent” and becomes powerful as “the fiery flying serpent.” He will have a very brief time of power, but will be defeated by the L_RD. Why does this personage choose the Temple Mount? He is trying to usurp the rule and reign of the rightful Ruler, and King of Israel, Messiah. And, he does not recognize the L_RD G_D of Israel!! He does not recognize the claim of the Jews to Mount Zion, but rather wishes to eliminate any recollection of the Jews having any claim to the Land, or to the Temple Mount, or to Jerusalem. Is this not the stance of the Muslims even now? The “treachery” is anyone in Israel giving any recognition to those who wish to perpetrate the diabolical plot, and in turning any portion of the Land over to such enemies! Ariel Sharon and his henchmen, both within Israel, and in concert with the international leaders, are on a very dangerous “Roadmap Plan!!” But, notice who is not to rejoice. “Palestina”. Who is “Palestina?” Palestine. Where, and what, is “Palestine?” ‘Palestine” is the name the Arabs have chosen to identify the region of the Middle East that the Arab Palestinians claim is theirs, and wish to wrest from Israel, from the People of the Covenant. So, it is the Palestinians who are not to rejoice! Why? To answer that question, back up to verse 1 of the Isaiah chapter 14. “For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land.” Keep in mind the context of the passage, which is regarding the restoration of Jacob to the Land forever, so is not ancient in prophetic orientation, but describes the re-establishment of Israel as a nation in the time of the end, which speaks to our generation. It is how this restoration is to be accomplished that is prophetic for the period we now face. Isaiah indicated many people and nations, willingly, and unwillingly, will be involved in restoring the land of Israel to the Jews. This restoration of Israel has been, and continues to be, orchestrated by the L_RD Himself! In the course of the re-establishment of Israel as a nation, the opposition arises through a specific group of people who identify themselves with “Palestine.” These will believe they will have reason to rejoice, but just when they think their goals are achievable, the tables will turn! However, if we read carefully, we realize the restoration of Israel includes much conflict. Israel is embroiled in this prophetic period of conflict right now! Since the Word of the L_RD through Isaiah the prophet is telling the Palestinians not to rejoice, there must be situations which, in human terms, could possibly give them reason to rejoice, except that G_d will not let their goals be permanently realized! So, who is being “treacherous?” Ariel Sharon and his crew! Who is the enemy? The Palestinians and their allies. Who will win? The L_RD G_d of Israel! Take heart. Strengthen your faith! Succeed At Selling At Your Trade Show Booth

By Dick Wheeler Your trade show exhibit staff can make the difference between your trade show exhibit being successful or being an unproductive exercise. The Center for Exhibit Industry Research (CEIR) says that 80% of what visitors remember most about their visit to a trade show booth is their interaction with the exhibit staff. In fact, CEIR sites that 75% of the effectiveness of any trade show is traceable to the performance of the exhibit staff. Although you can find almost any information today on a companys website, trade shows are popular because, unlike the Internet, they give people a chance to talk face to face. Your trade show display staff can thus make the difference between trade show attendees having a positive experience or a negative one. By employing well-rehearsed trade show booth people skills, your staff will be better able to ensure that every visitor to your trade show booth has a gratifying experience. And, by learning important people skills, your staff will generate better sales. Visitors come to trade shows to learn what is new in their industry by attending continuing education sessions and by gathering information at trade show exhibits. Your staff not only needs to have knowledge about your product or service but they also need to be enthusiastic and know how to professionally and politely handle any situation that may arise. By being prepared, your staff can anticipate the questions they will be asked and thus be better able to manage conversations on the trade show floor. Being able to control the conversation will help your trade show staff in selling their products or services to the visitor. According to Matt Hill, a trade show trainer and president of The Hill Group, in San Jose, California, in order to engage and qualify trade show booth visitors, your trade show staff needs to master the following people skills. How to: 1. Engage and Greet By having eye contact, being friendly and approachable, asking opened ended question (one that does not have a yes or no answer, such as What bought you to our booth today?) your booth staff can break the ice and easily initiate a dialogue. 2. Ask qualifying questions to decide whether the visitor is qualified or a time waster Learn what questions to ask to find out if the visitor has influence in buying your product, has a time frame that is acceptable to you, and has an adequate budget or financing available. 3. Either dismiss or present a product demonstration To end the conversation and to disengage from your visitors, you can shake their hands, thank them for their time, communicate that you need to move on to someone waiting, and then turn away. This will politely signal that your conversation is over. It is called pattern interrupt. Since you are not a talk show host such as David Letterman or Jay Leno who rely on commercial breaks to end their guest s appearance, you must learn pattern interrupt techniques to politely end your trade show booth conversation. 4. Generate a lead After qualifying the visitor, you need to ask if they want to be contacted further. If they are a hot lead, they will want to be contacted either right away or within the next 30 days. Be sure to get the necessary contact information on the visitor and then follow up. A favorite technique of Hills is teaching exhibit staffers how to work with groups. He cites that when you are presenting at your trade show booth and engaged in a one on one conversation and another person approaches, there are people skills you can use to open up your conversation to include an expanding audience. First, take a step back or to the side to make room for more people, ask your initial guest if it is acceptable to open up the conversation to others, and then bring those new visitors up to date on the conversation. If you are not the right staff person to answer your visitors questions, Hill advises you to escort that visitor to a qualified staff person in your booth. If he/she is already involved in conversation, you can politely interrupt by asking if it is okay to join the conversation. If not, ask how long he/she plans to be. If the conversation will end in a minute or two, then you can wait with your visitor until your staff person is finished the conversation. Realize that a private conversation at a trade show booth can always be politely interrupted. Hill has conducted trade show trainings for many companies for shows around the world and close by to home at the Henry J Kaiser Convention Center in Oakland, the Moscone Center in San Francisco, and the Convention Centers in Santa Clara and San Jose. He has trained Silicon Valley companies headquartered in Fremont, Hayward, Cupertino, Milpitas, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, San Jose and beyond to Sacramento and throughout Northern California. He believes that people skills training for a specific show is essential for all the trade show booth staff. After an advanced formal training, a quick refresher before the show helps reinforce the people skills your staff will use over the course of the trade show so that every visitor to your trade show booth has a positive experience. Your sales will dramatically increase as a result. Dick Wheeler is President of Professional Exhibits & Graphics, headquartered in Sunnyvale, California with a showroom in Sacramento. Firm is full-service premiere trade show exhibit, graphics and management services company. http://www.proexhibits.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Dick_Wheeler http://EzineArticles.com/?Succeed-At-Selling-At-Your-Trade-Show-Booth&id=254411 credit-loan-fast-easy cash now loans no fax cash advance best personal loans

How to Target Abdominal Weight Loss Wisely

By Foras Aje Equipments may come and go, you could spend hours doing countless sit-ups and crunches, but one factor that simply cant be overlooked for a healthy abdominal weight loss is a dietetic change. Friends, in the present world no one can advice you best way to lose weight. But it’s important to do it in a healthy and realistic way. This allows you to get the nutrients you need, feel positive about helping your health and well being, and get on with living your life. Adopting a healthy and long lasting way to weight loss ensures healthy mind, body, and soul for you. In today’s age and world, being slim, shapely, possessing ripped abdominal muscles and toned arms seems to be the aim of a vast majority of the people you see spending tons of hours working out at gyms. These same people spend loads of money on the new weight-loss pill or supplement guaranteed to ‘make you eat less and increase your metabolism…’ and in spite of whatever side effects the product may contain, the average Joe, still thinks this quick fix will be worth the risk. In truth, some of these people have luck with these efforts, and yes they possess the ever so ripped and toned muscles we as a society admire so much. However, the fact that needs to be accepted and pondered upon thoroughly is: ‘Whatever is not built on a proper foundation will eventually crumble!’ There is a saying that is known to every culture which goes: you are what you eat… What you eat plays arguably the most important role on your overall health and fitness, thus PROPER DIET should be the most important factor of any and every health seeker. What then should one eat? In a nut-shell: yes as boring as it may sound- Fruits and Vegetables. I can honestly say to you, when I REALLY want to see my cuts in my abs, if I go on a mono-diet of seasonal fruits for several days (actually 2-3 days) , the cuts just come showing in all their glory. Now imagine what my abs look like when I fast! If the suggestion above seems a little bit extreme for now, try just using mucus-lean or mucus-poor foods such as Potatoes, Leaves, Avocadoes, Natural Brown Rice (soaked overnight and perhaps cooked with blended ORGANIC Tomatoes and celery), just avoid the refined, packaged and processed foods of the usual American Standard Diet. I have written on the best abdominal exercises elsewhere, but just in case my favorites (and I must point out the fact that the work more than just the abs..) are the Ab-Wheel, Hindu-Push Ups, Gorilla Crunches and Bicycle. Of course some other do’s and don’ts apply to abdominal exercises and weight loss (which not surprisingly is noticed first in the abdominal region eh?) but for now, lets try to make the first step to be a change in our dietetic habits for lasting results. Disasters-What Did Jesus Say?

By Margaret Peggy Henderson Kannaday What did Jesus say to do in a time of disaster? There were two disasters that The Lord talked about. The first one was about those who lost their lives because of Pilate, and also those who lost their lives because the Tower of Siloam fell on them. Jesus used these two instances, as an opportunity to teach those Galilaens about what their attitude should be in response to these disasters. We are now being faced with one disaster after another, and we need to learn what Jesus taught about the subject. Jesus was quite clear in saying that those that were killed were not any worse sinners than the people that survived and lived. Jesus was saying to the people that when a terrible catastrophe occurs; it is a warning to all that survive the ordeal. Jesus not only tells the people that they are no better than the ones that perished, but He goes a step further, and He tells them that they should repent or they also will perish. When we see the disasters through the news reports; what do we do? First, and foremost; we repent of our own sins, and we turn to God. That is the most important response. After that, we need to pray, and The Holy Spirit will lead us and guide us. Those that have matured in the Lord; the real sons and daughters of God are those who inquire of The Lord before they do anything. They know that whatever they do; it is of small value unless it is in obedience and anointed by The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will show us how to pray and what to do. Disasters are being televised in every area of the world today, and our first response is to humble ourselves, pray, seek God and turn from any and all of our own evil ways. It is a warning to us, and we must realize that it is only by the grace of God that we have not perished. Repentance is a wonderful opportunity to be refreshed, renewed, and revived in The Lord. The Lord went about saying, Repent for The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Why did Jesus emphasis this point? Because we do not know when our time to die will come, but The Lord Jesus was warning us to always repent in order to be right with Him. We are never to take our salvation for granted because we are told to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, and also that those who endure to the end will be saved. We are told to take heed when we think we stand; lest we fall, and we are not to think more highly of ourselves than we should. Presumption is something to be shunned. It is only by the grace of God that we will be saved, and all the works in the world will not usher us into The Throne of God. Jesus preached repentance all of the time because He loved all of the people, and He didn’t want even one person to perish without eternal salvation with Him. We here in these perilous times need to do the same. Each new disaster and tragedy is an opportunity for repentance, refreshing, renewal and revival. When we do what Jesus taught us to do first, then we will be greatly effective in whatever He leads us to do. Jesus only did what The Father revealed for Him to do, and how much more should we only do as He directs. Let us put The Lord Jesus Christ in His rightful position as The Head and Lord of The Church, which is His Body. Mobile Car Washing and Doing Business With Hertz Rent-A-Car

By Lance Winslow If you own a mobile car washing or mobile auto detailing business then may I suggest to you finding new clientele in the car rental agency business? Why do I recommend this? Well personally having been in the fleet car and truck washing business for almost 3 decades it has served me well cleaning for rental car agencies. Many small auto detailers and mobile car wash operators have not tapped into this niche because they do not really understand it. To get started I recommend looking thru the phone book and seeing which car rental agencies exist in your area of service or city. You will also need to get a quick education in how car rental agencies work and the history behind the industry. Lets take Hertz Rent-a-Car for instance and talk about doing business with Hertz Rent-A-Car. You see, Hertz is the oldest car rental company in the world and each car rental corporation has a unique history which you should study before going in to make the sales call. Believe it or not it was started in 1918 by a guy named Walter Jacobs who had 12 Model Ts. He was only 22 at the time. He sold his business to John Hertz also President of Yellow Cab and Yellow Truck and Coach Manufacturing. In 1967 Hertz became a subsidiary of RCA Corp. Hertz later was sold to UAL and then was sold to Ford Motor Companys newly formed Park Ridge Corp. Volvo joined in with funds later in 1988. Hertz was transferred to Ford Motor Company from its subsidiary Park Ridge in 1993. Hertz has also made friends with AAA Club, is recommended by them and gives cardholders up to 15% off. American Express Car Holders also get the same satisfaction. If you are a small business, your Chamber of Commerce also has incentives. Hertz has come along way since 1918. Today Hertz is a powerhouse with 377 Hertz Equipment Rental Offices (largest in the world), represented in 140 countries with 7000 worldwide rental car offices, 4600 rental offices in the US and Canada, 300 used car sales locations and 488 truck rental locations. Hertz has been able to put their locations in high-end car repair facilities prototypes such as AAA Car Care Center in Sacramento CA and JoeAutos prototype facility in West Houston TX. They have put locations in BART train stations in San Francisco and in many large car dealerships that sell Ford Products. They have pick up and delivery service in over 600 locations in answer to Enterprise Rent-A-Cars market share advances. Hertz has opened what they call Superette car sales offices in many large cities to handle all of their sales in metro areas. Instead of Enterprises or Budgets strategy of smaller 60-100 car facilities spread around the town. I have been to a Superette Facility in Houston. Hertz Car Sales offices boast of being able to offer hassle free car sales, complete online records of maintenance, huge inventories (the Superette we toured had over 350 cars), factory warranties from manufacturers on most cars, limited 12,000 mile/1 year warranty on all others, competitive financing through FMC. They are serious about selling their cars for a high price and delivering high levels of service, so a mobile car wash company makes a great fit on their organization. Hertz has an excellent fleet program for companies who wish to buy one year old Ford cars or trucks for their business all backed with Ford Motor Credit Loans or Smart leases by Ford. This program also has a claims service to go with it and a small business insurance package with low rates. You as a mobile car wash company might be interested in this as a way to expand your fleet if you like using Ford products. This program may change in the future if Ford divests itself from such non-core business models. Their truck rental business is similar to Penske, Ryder, U-Haul and Budgets truck rental services with packaging materials available or just a truck to use for a day for business purposes or deliveries. We have seen Hertz, Enterprise, Penske and Ryder Trucks at Fed Ex offices during Christmas Holidays to help service demand. And we have even washed them, since Fed Ex refuses to show up in a dirty vehicle to deliver packages. Fed Ex and other small package delivery services are a target for such truck rental companies, since they often rent the trucks for as long as a month at a time. For locations of Hertz Equipment go to their web site at: http://www.hertzequip.com For locations of Hertz Truck Rentals: https://www.hertz.com/rentacar/byr/index.jsp? targetPage=browseLocationView.jsp&leftNavUserSelection=globNav_3_1 For Hertz Rental Offices and Car Sales Locations to market to go to: https://www.hertz.com/rentacar/index.jsp? targetPage=reservationOnHomepage.jsp The wonderful thing about working with Hertz is you can detail their used cars for sale, wash the sales lots, clean their rental cars, wash their heavy equipment, clean the concrete at their shops or wash the trucks they rent to customers. So when expanding your clientele and commercial accounts, I recommend rental agencies and of course Hertz is as good a place to start as any. So perhaps you will consider all this in 2006. “Lance Winslow” - Online Think Tank forum board. Tips for Fishing an Unfamiliar Lake

By Chris Curley When approaching a new lake, its always a good idea to have a plan. Maps and lake reports are handy, but they arent always accurate and may not be the only thing you need. Sometimes you need that keen eye of an experienced angler to see the opportunities. Or just learn what that keen-eyed angler is looking for and duplicate. Sometimes you may get lucky and find someone on the docks willing to give up some secrets. Older anglers are usually more than happy to pass on some of their tips, favorite tricks and spots. I always use a system of gathered information. Here are a few tips to help your overall success on a new lake. As I have said before, keep it simple. The most basic fishing techniques work the same on most all lakes. They have done so in the past for a reason. If it works on one lake, chances are it will on others. Structure! Structure! Structure! Look for docks, standing timer, weeds and lily pads. Anything that creates shelter and camouflage for the fish is a good spot. Bass, especially largemouth are ambush hunters. Confidence can be a great fishing tool to have in your tackle box also. If you go out to the lake with the mindset that youre not going to catch a fish, your chances of catching a fish are going diminish greatly. Throw that lure like youre a pro on the biggest tour of your life and before you know it, your catching fish like a pro. The shallows near a drop off or channel are always a good place to catch fish. The Bass species, which include the Sunfish and Bluegill, like to have that abrupt transition. If youre trying to catch a specific species find out what kind of habitat they require and look for it on the lake. The time of year has a lot to do with how the fish will bite. Two things make a major impact on what the fish are doing and how they will react: cold water and warm water. Cold water; slow your roll, Warm water; speed it up a bit. Dont just throw your favorite lure because you like how fish strike it, or it happens to be your favorite color. Check the condition of the water. Is it clear or muddy? Is it cold or warm? Is the level rising or falling? Believe me, water conditions matter. As always, the local tackle shop is a great place for information. However, sometimes its hard to get good advice right before a big tournament. The person running the shop may fall into a rut and answer everybody the same, Well so-and-so creek can be good this time of the year. or The fish have really been biting on this (Insert product here), which is on sale today. Knowing when to ask the local tackle shop also comes with experience. Water clarity is something else that will be a factor in going to a new lake. If you cannot see what is under the surface, its pretty hard to determine what to throw. If the water is muddy, throw out a nice dark color (Im not a favorite of black or blue however, other are). Bladed Spinners are always a good way to feel-out the water. Something weed-less or snag-free well works in testing out the waters also. My fishing buddy likes to go to a different lake each time we go fishing, which can be a bit difficult when youre strapped for time or cash. However, experience comes from doing and the more lakes and ponds you can throw your lures into, the better. Well I do hope I have helped someone and just remember, on those rainy or bad days, do some research, cause like the old saying goes, Knowledge is Power. And as always, keep happy thoughts and good fishin to you. Chris Curley lives in Nashville, IN. with his dog Piranah.
